The Institut Metapsychique International (IMI) was established in 1919 under the patronage of Charles Richet, Nobel Prize laureate in Physiology/Medicine. It is a not-for-profit foundation dedicated to the scientific study of psi phenomena, and constitutes the principal center in France for parapsychological research and information. Situated in the center of Paris, the IMI also provides courses, lectures, scholarly expertise and counseling on exceptional experiences. Its specialized library and archives include over 6000 titles.
